"Dennis"
Dennis's love for martial arts started with a strong desire to become a Ninja Turtle. Donatello, specifically. He trained in Kenpo as a teenager for a few years, but it wasn't until meeting Ed in 2011, training Kali and Jeet Kune Do in a sweaty garage in summer that he found a passion for it. The draw of the technical aspect of Kali as a precision focused art gave Dennis just enough brain-breaking challenges to keep the fire burning. It also didn't hurt that Kali let him develop his weapon training for his eventual turtle tryouts. Since then, Dennis has worked his way through Kali at Metrolina, ranking under both Ed and Guro Ron Balicki. He now teaches the Kali Fundamentals class at Metrolina where students can jump in at any level to learn the Inosanto/Lameco curriculum. Dennis hopes through his teaching to one day make even Master Splinter proud.
